Narla in the Shade

This painting shows Narla finding a shady spot in the smallest patch of garden she could find and resting her held on to the ledge of a step. It was a hot summers day, and the garden provided a cool shelter from the harsh sun all around. Narla loved to squeeze into small spots hidden away ever since she was a tiny puppy, and sometimes she’d forget her size. There is not a lot a big dog won’t do to stay cool in a Australian Brisbane summer, as any happy dog owner knows.. This is a signed, original, one-of-kind, painting.
