 Store FAQ’s

  • For anyone living in Melbourne or Brisbane artworks delivery can be arranged or a pick point can be agreed on after buying an artwork and the address is known. A small delivery cost will be included in addition to the artwork payment depending on the arrangements.

For shipping of the Narla Books, it will be done through Australia Post Standard delivery with no tracking in an A5 Package to keep the cost down. The cost of shipping is an additional cost to the books. Artworks will also be posted through Australia Post standard delivery with tracking (unless otherwise requested) for their safety. However, prints will not be tracked. Similarly, the cost of shipping is additional to the print or artwork cost.

Please note delivery can be arranged within a week. Shipping with Australia post can take at least 1 month. An invoice for the shipping will be sent to your email. Once you complete all payments shipping will commence.

  • Generally, framing is treated as an additional cost. You will pay framing on top of the artwork price. Some works come framed and cannot be unframed. These artworks are marked as framed and ready to hang in the descriptions and their price includes the frame. However, some artworks will be sold unframed. You can request them to be framed for the additional cost of the framing. Purchase the artwork, and then contact Alina and let her know what artwork you are buying and that you would like it to be framed. Otherwise, the artwork will be supplied unframed.

With framing there are two options. Option one, option is a low-cost frame from Ikea or Kmart etc. and this possible for small standard size works. Second option is a custom framer that are high quality durable and more expensive. Please note, custom framing can cost the same or more than the artwork (in some cases) and take between 1 week to 2 months (depending on the framer). For some artworks, custom framing is the only option because of the unique size and medium. When contact Alina, please let her know if you want a custom frame or standard frame (remembering not all artworks can be standard framed).

Framing takes a minimum of 1 week and no shorter time is possible. If the timing or the price doesn’t work for you, you will have to accept the work unframed and organise your own framing. Furthermore, once a custom frame is done and paid for unframing is not an option. Alina has the framers she trusts for a good price, and work, and if you’d like to shop around it’s best you do this yourself.

Once the framing is agreed Alina will send an invoice for the framing (additional cost on top of artwork). Once the artwork is framed it will be shipped/delivered.

  • Deliveries take at least one week. Shipping takes at least one week to one month. Framing takes at least one week and can be up to two months. All this process only commences once the bill is fully paid. In general, you can expect at least two weeks to have an artwork framed and delivered/shipped from date of payment. Please note the timelines are approximate and might change in different circumstances. Furthermore, these timelines do not apply to international buyers, only buyers in Australia.

  • Please note some artworks are fragile and must be framed to ensure their protection and longevity. For example, this is often the case for pastel drawings and mixed media artworks.

Furthermore, some artworks are sensitive to heavy amounts of sunlight and over time too much exposure to the sun may cause cracking or dull the colours. This is the case with most gouache, watercolour canvas, and some acrylics or oils in select cases. If this is the case avoid hanging the art in a sunny place. Ideally, it is best to frame these works behind glass for their protection and safety. Glass can reduce exposure to sunlight and protect from water. All artworks cannot be rained on or soaked (wet) or they will likely suffer damage.

Artworks that have glow paint need to be exposed to medium sun so they will glow. Unfortunately, glow paint will fade over time, this is a normal wear and tear of the work. Enjoy the glowing while it lasts.

Artworks do not need to be cleaned, and in fact you should avoid touching the artwork surface in general. If an artwork is dusty use a dry cloth or air dryer to de-dust.

All artworks are meant for internal house use only and should not be hung or left outside where they can be exposed to the weather.

Finally, artworks are fragile do not expose them to anything sharp, or bump them hard, or put them near fire and water, this could cause them damage. Be careful whist transporting art. Wrap them in towels or bubble wrap protecting the surface and frame.

  • All prices are AUD (Australia $). Please contact Alina if you are an international buyer. Please let her know in English which artwork you want to buy, what currency you will pay, any framing, and where you need the artwork delivered too. The systems are not currently in place for these purchases to work smoothly without any manual assistance. This will change in the future.

  • If you cannot pay for an artwork all at once, please contact Alina and request a payment plan. Let her know which artwork you would like to buy, and your preferences with regards to framing and shipping/delivery. In the email, please let Alina know a payment plan you can commit too, e.g., 50 a month for 4 months to pay $200 for the artwork. If framing or delivery is involved this will be accounted in discussions too. Please note this website will also offer an after-pay option or art money in time. Alina understands you have financial commitments to manage and will be as accommodating as possible to your personal situation.

  • Returns are only allowed if the work is delivered damaged. Then, if we can’t provide an exchange, you will be refunded, and you must return the work to us at your cost. In general, no returns are allowed except for a special circumstance. Please contact if you need a return.
