Alina Shirley creates meaningful stories with colourful, bright, and beautiful artworks with a signature magical swirl that sets people free into a fantasy or surreal memory where their dreams are real. 

Alina is a storyteller working as an emerging artist, illustrator, writer. She is the author and illustrator of children’s books, illustrated short stories, novels, and beautiful artworks for the family home. She is originally from Brisbane, and she has lived in Melbourne and the Netherlands while traveling extensively. She has a Diploma of Visual Arts from RMIT University in Melbourne with UX/UI electives. She also has a Bachelor of Business Management, and Philosophy with writing electives. Alina Shirley’s art style is inspired by living a diverse and creative life full of colour capturing the beauty in things that inspire her curiosity and passion. Alina’s art focuses on all aspects of nature (including human nature, animals, and the environment), and the power of imagination. Alina’s “Story worlds” are the collection of Alina’s books, illustrations and art based on a story and land that forms the basis for a series of works. Alina brings colour and magic to life to make places and worlds people want to be in their dreams.
